Servings

This recipe makes a rich and thick curry which is tailored for mild to moderate spice but comes with an extra packet to make it spicier.

Beginning of the 20th century tandoori ovens were a common finding in homes of the sub continent. Many dishes originated which were originally cooked in these clay underground ovens which were lit with either coal or wood. These ovens are still found in rural homes and city restaurants. These ovens create a unique environment of heat emanating not just from below but also from the walls of the cavity. As there is no precise temperature regulation in these ovens, food is cooked from the look and feel philosophy and of course cooks experience. In our homes there are no tandoori ovens so we made this recipe to suit modern day cooking methods without compromising the authentic taste.

Authentic Indian taste

A wonderful blend of spices that are not too hot so you can enjoy the different flavours. This is the 4th different spice kit I have tried from MZA, they are all really good and a true taste of India

Amazing flavours

Tried Murgh Tandoori today and it was delicious and full of flavour. A lovely creamy sauce with a chilli kick but not too hot so that you couldn’t taste the flavour of the spice. Accompanied with fresh naan and coriander to garnish - will definitely be buying the spice kit again!!!
