Traditionally this recipe comes with a creamy sauce which is not too runny. Meat is neither too tender nor very chewy. It is tailored for mild to moderate spice but comes with an extra packet to make it spicier.
Karahi Gosht is a classic dish from the North West frontier region of the sub-continent. Traditionally the meat is cooked by residents of the mountainous regions which makes it very difficult to tenderise due to the low atmospheric pressure on the mountains. Hence it should not be tenderised too much to keep the tradition. A delicious dish which can be cooked both from red and white meat.
