This recipe makes a delicious soup like gravy which you can make thicker to suit your taste. Meat is very tender and curry is vibrant red. Tailored for mild to moderate spice but comes with an extra packet to make it spicier.
This aromatic, delicious and colourful dish originated from the beautiful region of Kashmir an area that most consider as heaven on earth. This dish is based on three main ingredients, fennel powder, ginger powder (Sont) and Kashmiri red chilli powder. It is the later that gives Rogan Josh a bright red colour. Many restaurant put artificial red colouring to give this dish the unique red colour which is not the traditional way. We are very proud to share this tasty traditional recipe.
